Daygen Armstrong WCHS I’d say my favorite thing about my hometown of Winchester Indiana is the diversity of people you can meet, and how friendly, kind, caring, and compassionate they can be! Everyone seems to show interest in what you are up to and what you get yourself involved in. Everyone cares for one another, supports each other, and pushes others to achieve their goals and enjoy their time living in a small town! I think that is how small towns are supposed to be but, I really enjoy living in Winchester, it’s a great city with many things to get discover. After High School I am going to college at Ball State University and I will be studying Business Administration, and I am hoping to get my MBA! After attending college I am looking forward to finding a job relatively quick, and see where life takes me! I have also wanted to stay close to Winchester but, I am thinking on moving to Noblesville Indiana after I have established a good career for myself, and I can support myself!

Kenzie Chenoweth My favorite thing about my hometown is that it is starting to develop more small businesses. My family has been in Lynn, Indiana for generations. My great great grandfather started the Chenoweth’s store in Lynn, the business served the community for several decades and generations. Now many years later, Lynn is starting thrive again. It’s amazing to see the potential for this small town. The recently opened HomeTown Coffee offers a place for locals to fellowship. The former Chenoweth’s store is now Cozy Corner. With buzz of more potential businesses, I look forward to Lynn becoming a place that draws people from near and far. I plan on attending IU East majoring in either Criminal Justice or Healthcare. I’m looking forward to all of the new opportunities after school and becoming a better me.

Autumn Toschlog CHS There is a lot that goes on in my life that is exciting or interesting. However there is one thing I always like to talk about and am very proud of. For the last 10 plus years I have been involved in 4-H. From riding around in a stroller to taking home the biggest trophy, I have always been at the fair. For the past 10 years I have participated in pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, llamas, rabbits, floral culture, scrap booking, and consumer clothing. All of these projects have given me many awards and opportunities. I have been taught so many life lessons that I will take with me for the rest of my life. 4-H is a big part of my life, it always has been and always will be. I hope to get into the colleges I've always dreamed of going to. I also hope to get as many scholarships and grants as possible (we all know why). Overall just learn and practice what I've been wanting to do for the past 6 years. Being a nurse is my dream and I can't wait for what the future brings!

Rhamey Fetters WCHS Winchester, the place I will always call home. This place might be small, but nothing anywhere else can you find a community so supportive like we do here at WCHS. I have found myself being surrounded by many people form all over this small town that all want the same thing for everyone, and that's success. When someone hears the words “Golden Falcons” they instantly begin to think, and the first word that pops into their mind is “tough” and we have gained this privilege because of our own hard work and the great support from our community. My post high school plans consist of wanting to stay close to home, alongside possibly studying dental or criminal justice. I would prefer to commute from home, so that I am still involved with things here alongside getting a great college experience. So many great people live in this town, and I want to be able to have the opportunities once I’m older to give back to my community like it gave to me.

Maddy Short NEHS I grew up in Winchester, Indiana and lived there until my freshman year of high school, when I moved to Richmond and went to Northeastern. There were so many things I loved about that little town. From its homey feel and all the decorations for the seasons to the skating rink where I made many memories. But the thing I loved most about Winchester was its community and the way everyone knew everyone. Even when I go back now, I always see a familiar face or an old friend. My hopes for after high school are to attend college to get my nursing degree and possibly my nurse practitioner license. I would love to do travel nursing when I’m finished with school.
